PUC Founder (MSC) Berhad is the premier developer of fingerprinting security system and a renowned provider of IT solutions in Malaysia. Established in 1997, the Company is principally an IT solutions provider to the local and regional publishing and printing companies, secured software contracts worth millions for the Company’s Electronic Publishing System and Management Information System (EPS and MIS) solutions from large corporations such as Nanyang Siang Pau, Malaysia and Singapore Press Holdings, Singapore.
The Company initiated research and development of fingerprinting security devices since the year 2000 in response to the growing demands for biometrics products for the government and the commercial sectors. The initial R&D project was financially supported by the Multimedia Development Corporation Malaysia under the Multimedia Super Corridor Grant Scheme (MGS) and the project was accomplished in collaboration with Multimedia University of Malaysia and Peking University of China. The products marketed under the registered brand name of Fingertec® was successfully launched in 2002 and the commercialization of the brand to local and international market has been carried out since through the Company’s subsidiary, FingerTec Worldwide Sdn Bhd.
In April 2002, PUC Founder (MSC) Berhad is listed in the MESDAC market of the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad and a year after, the Company formed three more subsidiaries in PUC Founder Technology Sdn. Bhd. (Malaysia), Founder GlobalTech (HK) Limited (Hong Kong) and Founter GlobalTech (Shenzen) Limited (China).
Fingertec® started on the worldwide expansion starting 2005 by deployment on new branding concepts and strategies and within less than five years, Fingertec® manages to have the brand presence in more than 90 countries worldwide mainly through its successful Internet marketing strategy and online support system. Fingertec® also is a proud recipient of four internationally acclaimed awards in recognition of its technology advancement and its has received Certificates of Excellence for branding from MATRADE for two consecutive years. Fingertec Worldwide has been marketing the brand overseas through dealership channels and has been involved in security tradeshows around the world.
